Wrong answer you comlete moron. Because Omicron is being proven worldwide to be a much milder variant. In every country that has highest vaccination figures, the number of cases is highest, the vax does NOT prevent Omicron, the symptoms are mild anyway, even in countries with low vaccination numbers, so any reduction of symptoms you claim to benefit from, are pointless.
Hospitalisations and deaths you pleb - all down due to the vaccine programmes around the world. Are you truly this dense ?

The latest estimates suggest that 105,900 deaths and 24,088,000 infections have been prevented as a result of the COVID-19 vaccination programme, up to 20 August.

Dr Mary Ramsay, Head of Immunisation at PHE, said:

It is remarkable that the vaccine programme may now have prevented over 100,000 deaths in England alone. Everyone that has come forward for their vaccine has played a part in this vital effort.

To build on this success it remains important that everyone gets 2 doses of the vaccine, to protect you and those around you from COVID-19. You must get 2 doses to gain maximum protection.

Source ONS.

Most cases of Omicron in South Africa are mild, the head of its medical association has told British MPs, as new real-world data suggests two doses of the Pfizer vaccine offer 70% protection against hospital admission.

Dr Angelique Coetzee, chairwoman of the South African Medical Association, told the Commons Science and Technology Committee she agrees with a new study from the South African Medical Research Council suggesting that Omicron may be 29% less severe than the first wave of infection that swept the country.

The breakthrough infections we are seeing are mild… (and) the symptoms we are seeing in (vaccinated) people are less severe or intense than in the unvaccinated,” she said.

“On a hospital-level… between 88% to 90% (of people) are unvaccinated.”

NHS chief says health service is on a 'war footing' due to absences and a 94.5 per cent bed occupancy rate.
NHS staff shortages have risen by more than 50 per cent with almost 20,000 now off sick or self-isolating due to Covid-19, new figures have revealed.

The cabinet has been told that rising Covid-19 infections as a result of Omicron are likely to mean staff shortages across industries and sectors, similar to the pingdemic that was set off by millions self-isolating over the summer.

Anti-vaxxer- "Omicron is just a common cold and the government is just trying to scare you."

Edit: Dr Angelique Coetzee and her team first discovered Omicron, what would they know huh....

"In the majority of omicron cases, it is a mild infection but if you are not vaccinated or vulnerable, you might face problems. A Booster shot will protect you against severity." Dr. Coetzee.

It’s lovely to see the videos of Scottish police arresting old folk for having the temerity to dance on New Years Eve. How dare they have fun, it’s unpatriotic and will spread the virus. They should wear their masks because we know the virus will attack you when you’re standing up but not when you are sitting eating, it’s clever like that you know. Why didn’t they expect 6 police vans, and strong-arm tactics?
Alternatively, these heartless old folk should have gone to England, where the virus is obviously not allowed. They could have celebrated safely there without the threat of handcuffs, or cable ties.
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::mad::mad::mad:
Since when have you been a liker of "old" people ? hahaha what a joke.

I think a lot of you are actually Missing the Point of what is Actually happening, On a GLOBAL Scale.

You have to 'Create' Problems to create profit.

The GDP (Gross Domestic Profit)of a country, is a measure of the Value of goods and services sold.

This 'Measure' is claimed to be part of the standard of living of a countries people.

Health Care in the UK accounted for about 22% of GDP in 2021. Amounting to TRILLIONS spent on Health Care.

Hence, creating a 'positive effect on this economic measure.

And, based on that logic, it would be even better if 'Health care' services increased more so.

Since that would create more growth, more jobs and a 'Rise' in a countries standard of living.

BUT....What do 'Healthcare' services ACTUALLY represent?

Sick and Dying people.

The more 'Unhealthy' people there are in a 'Wealthy' country, the better the economy.! That is NOT an exaggeration or a cynical perspective.

In fact, if you step back far enough, when you see that when the GDP of a country is going up, it is in FACT mostly a measure of Industrial inefficiency and Social Degradation.

The more you see it rise, the worse things are becoming with respect to Personal, Social and Environmental integrity.

'Efficiency' = Absence of waste, that's what 'Efficiency' is. The systems we have in place right now are MORE wasteful than all the other systems in the history of OUR Planet.

Every Level of life organisation in Life's system is in a state of Crisis, Challenge and Decay or Collapse.

No Peer reviewed Journal for the last 30 years will tell you anything different.

That is, That Every Life System is in DECLINE. As well as Social Programs, our Water and food access, the price of fuel to heat our homes.. Try and name ANY means of Life that isn't threatened and endangered.? You Can't. There isn't ONE.

But we haven't figured out the 'Causal mechanism'.? We don't want to Face it. We just want to go on and on.

That's what Insanity is. You keep doing the same thing over and over again...Though it clearly doesn't work.

This could be classed as an Anti-Economic System.

Which is Exactly what we are living with RIGHT NOW.

I think you misunderstand parsimony as a concept.

One can save money by buying a second hand car which still fulfills ones needs but without the expense for the sake of luxury.

To do that with peoples lives however, is debatable, dependant on thier life worth.

To save money at the expense of allowing the deaths of those who no longer contribute economically to society?

Sounds very Marxist to me.

I can't believe we're talking about a virus that is killing a large amount of people all over the world and noone has yet mentioned population control. Do we study evidence and come to a conclusion or do we come to a conclusion and find the evidence? Noone yet concluded that we won't know whats true until a few years time when facts can be investigated and openly proven?

Oh No, a conspiracy theory lol

Population control has been on the cards since the formation of Planned Parenthood and it's ilk.
Eugenics to.

However, we cant talk about those things, they are taboo.

Even though there is still a whole section of science deliberating it, that of Bio-Ethics.

Which is Eugenics with a new name.

A bit like New labour, or New Conservatives, basically the same sh** spray painted a different colour.

So explain how the hospitalisation figures have gone up the same in largely unvaccinated countries at the same rate as vaccinated countries, and the death rate has stayed the same??? It is showing that the vaccines have no affect on the case numbers, or hospitalised numbers, or the death numbers. It is being proven in all highly vaccinated countries when compared to the lower vaccinated countries.
I get that you need to believe in the vaccine, and I'm sure it prevented a few deaths with Delta, but with Omicron it has no effect. As proven by the fact that SA, India and Japan figures.
Stop reading the news you gullible freak
Do you actually read what you type ?

You have just shown that you do not understand the term 'principle of parsimony'.

Principle of parsimony = Occam's razor.

Can also be called the 'law of parsimony'.
