Bad manners, self entitled people who put themselves before everyone else.
People who look down on others.
Cheats and liars.
Bad breath.
Whingers.
People who won't control their dogs...either teeth or bowels.
My next door neighbour's ongoing outside extension work,,,(though to be fair he only does it in summer when I am trying to relax in the garden)
Bad drivers.
Shop workers who have a conversation with someone else when they are serving me.
People who step off the escalator then stop dead.
People who quietly fart in enclosed spaces...lifts etc.
People who dont acknowledge I have held a door open for them and waltz through as if I am the bloody commissionaire.
People who let a door close in my face.
Scanning the 3 million Sky channels and finding there is nothing worth watching on any of them.

The Summer Lockdown of 2020 was beautiful ♡♡

Not many things annoy me but my local Tesco which I try avoiding like the plague does.

They quite often close all the tills leaving only the self-service open. It starts flashing that I have put something in my bagging area when I have not even started and the two spotty teenagers on duty wait until they have finished their gossip before one casually saunters over, the slower the better, keys in a code that takes a few seconds, looks at me as if I am a nuisance and saunters back.


And! They do not collect used baskets which means I have to trek halfway around the store to find one. During the lockdown, this meant following a RIDICULOUS one-way system for miles even though barely anyone else was in the store.

People who moan a lot...

Can I moan about people moaning about their bans? It does my nut in. Do these people know how lucky they are that they can at least appeal the ban? 3 years ago you would get banned and that was it, there was nothing you could do about it, you just had to suck it up. It was only when the new admin came in and instigated an appeals procedure that gave you some recourse...

The least tolerance? The working tax credits people. If you've ever had to phone them up, like I had to do this morning you, you will know what I'm talking about. You phone them and the call is answered by an automated voice recognition system. It asks you questions, and of course even though you're doing your very best to speak with a received pronunciation accent - it doesn't recognise your answers. After much faffing about you're eventually put on hold to speak to a real live person, and i do mean put on hold! - 35 mins... You finally get the opportunity to tell them why you're calling. And after 20 mins of explaining the problem and being put on hold while they sort it out - you at last get satisfaction!
Having said that, it can't be a easy working there, I wouldn't want to do it.

My Dr's surgery is a nightmare to get hold of.
You ring, if you are lucky you are 30th in the queue....it goes down...verrry slowly, then at last, after hearing some depressing music on repeat play for God knows how long in your earhole, you are FIRST in the queue, you clear your throat ready to speak....then the line goes dead.

My eyes are the wrong side of 50...Sometimes I have to get close to the shelves in a supermarket to see what I need...Some Kent decides to WALK right in front between Me and the Shelf.....Then just carries on walking away without a care.

Extremely annoying and not something I would do.

Having said that...I now have a plan in place for when folks do this to ME, I sneak up on them and do it back to them...!

When they are just about to reach for a can of Beans...I strike....And walk right in between them and the shelf.

They can't say anything, they have just done it to ME...!

It's funny when it happens and makes my day.

Thinking in 4K is rare...Folks thinking in 1080p is relatively new..To some.!

Not tried 8k then Altair, they are pretty common now
Hell Currys have them on offer for lest than £1100 due to Black Friday.
Think it was 2017 for 4k and 2019 for 8k becoming standardised.
The only problem we have is server bandwidth to stream in 8k.
Thats getting there.

Not much to see in 8K at the moment...Pitiful really...We have the tech but the content providers have yet to catch up. Yet again.!

I'm happy with 4k. But seeing some of the 8K TV's for sale I just wonder 'WHY BOTHER ?'

I dunno, my mate has a 4k TV, I cant tell the difference from 10 feet away compared to my 1080p.
Unless its a raw feed, the codecs are what makes the difference and they arent quick enough yet I think.

Haha... It depends if what you are viewing is Native 4k...Not forced.

My Xbox One X can display in 'Native' 4K. Some of the The games I have are also rendered in 4K.

There is a massive difference.!

CRT was good in it's day. Sure. Analogue was better with certain things...Digital is better with speed.

I turned down a free overnight stay at Dubai years ago as I hate people whom hide faces ! Lakeside at Thurrock has correctly laid down a rule that no 'hoodies' are allowed. (theft reduced as a result ) many bars and banks require hats and helmets to be removed before serving you. facial recognition is a fundamental part of being human and socialising with others. if you don't want to show face then stay at home!! and beef flaming me with religion etc it does NOT state in Islam that you need cover your face at all in Koran. thats just an local interpretation by a minority with a closed mindset.
