I'm glad he's locked up he needs to be strung up by his balls and let the animals in there do to him what he did to that poor girl that was horrendous burning her body thats just awful I feel for her parents
It's hard to imagine the devastation her parents and family must feel, they will never get over this.

Who, in your opinion, IS to blame here?

In my opinion it was Cuzens to blame for her murder. Now he starts to pay for his appaling crime eh ?.

Will you answer MY questions ?
1. Do you consider that the reinstatement of Capital Punishment will put a stop to further murders of women by men ?

2. You seem to have all the answers to this crime so come up with an answer now ?.!

So do you not believe equality can be possible in a civilised country like ours?

Explain exactly what you mean by"Equality" .
For example ,Andrew can afford to stay away from USA where he stands accused of assault on a young girl( historical ). Do you think he wil ever be forced to go to America and stand trial like the average Mr X in the street would be
If not then why can`t you answer my question about Capital Punishment ...might it show that you are asking for MORE than equality ?

There is another young woman who was murdered just crossing a park ;5 minute walk and murdered with no apparent "sex" motive.Have you deliberately ignored her because Cuzens is a bigger story and it involved "sex"?.

Are you sure I have ignored her?
Did you not read my first post?

When more info is made public about Sabina Nessa I will be sure to discuss it.

Am i seriously expected to believe that you don`t know the difference between male & female ? As far as i`m conserned we already have equality laws for women but males will never be the "same " as "women " and vice versa. Understand that and you might stand a chance of understanding men ( which i truly think you lack ).

I'm so sorry to hear that Whiskers.
My mum lost a child, I know it's something a parent never fully recovers from.

Just a couple of questions for you ,as you are posting the longest drawn out attacks on all men .
Q. do you seriously believe that bringing back Capital Punishment will prevent further sadistic attacks on all women ? A yes or no will suffice.

Q. would it bother you if some innocent male was executed wrongly ? yes or no again.
Pmsl. ALL my posts are going to be the longest and most drawn out, no matter the subject! The 'attacks on men' bit is a moot point.

A1- No, because I don't agree with capital punishment for 'sadistic attacks on women'. And you won't get just a yes or no for that! Pmsl- you won't get just a yes or no for anything from me! I have issues agreeing with capital punishment being used as a 'deterrent' or 'punishment' and believe it should only be used for certain crimes in certain circumstances, and on prisoners with a specific type of history, for example, many of the lifers in Broadmoor, who will never see the free world again.
Have you ever gone through the Texas Death Row list?
Many of them are young men that were involved in robberies, where someone has been killed as a result (e.g. a police officer, a store clerk) and I can't see that the 'punishment' fits the crime. Young men who didn't intend to kill anyone and who can be reformed, languishing on death row. Thankfully, the UK will never follow the U.S in that respect.

A2- of course it would and it did. As a teenager, I was slightly obsessed with the injustice of capital punishment in this country in relation to Derek Bentley- a young man, who was hung in Jan 1953 for a crime of joint enterprise. At the time, his sister Iris was fighting for his pardon and I joined the fight by writing half a dozen letters to the Home Office; often travelled from my home town to Croydon to visit his grave and re-fresh flowers. The cases for him and Timothy Evans (hung for 2 of John Christies murders in March 1950) changed my view of capital punishment. In Timothy Evans case, the DNA technology of today would have proved his innocence, but in the case for Derek Bentley, DNA would have been of no use. They hung him for simply being there at the time.

Seriously, hells, you have no idea who you're attempting to word battle here! You are a small minded man, with very narrow views, who assume every one is as thick as you are.
Big mistake, honey bun- big mistake. Lol

Misogynists, mostly overt and rather crude and some more covert and rather more sly, inadequate insecure and needy men who are in love with the sound of their own voice, typically react negatively to derail this important issue and never consider or provide any solution to tackle it because they do not believe it is an important issue in a patriarchal driven society.

They, these men while in packs, think it is perfectly acceptable to wolf whistle and shout lewd comments at lone women in the street going about their own business or feel their arse on the Tube because it's only 'banter' innit. There is a lot of existing evidence that 'some' men with these views, compared to men who don't have these views, can and do go on to commit more serious offences against women.

The Law Commission, an independent body, has recommended current legislation is changed to include adding "gender" to hate crime legislation and primarily to tackle misogyny (this means both genders are included). Currently, race, religion, trans identity, sexual orientation, and disability are identified as protected characteristics under this legislation and it has gone a long way to change negative attitudes towards people with those characteristics and alongside and including education.

Women murdered by total strangers is a rare event, however, women murdered by a spouse or ex-partner is not. Over a third, (37%) of girls at mixed-sex schools have been sexually harassed while at school and so it is not difficult to understand that to seriously tackle this issue education can and does change prevailing attitudes. The proposed legislation will tackle adults, so-called grown-ups, who are too f*cking stupid, or set in their prehistoric views, to learn anything about what a modern, equal society looks like.

Equality yes.
Equity no.
OK, I am confused, equity in the sense you have used the word surely does equate to equality between the sexes...How can they be equal if the rulings are not fair and balanced between them.
SO can you explain what you meant when you said..."It wont work" and "after all to have Equity one cannot have Freedom".

Yet more accusations which you can`t substantiate . I know that I am not as eleqant as some with my writing ,hence i try to make simple comments . You try to patronise everyone who you can beat with fancy words . Yet another reason where "equality" fails to make inroads.
Try to talk decently to other people and not rely on battering them down with your posh talk .Snobbery never impressed me and never will.

Each of these is an offence and can be reported and dealt with appropriately. Why make a fuss about what is already Law ?.
