I used to sing this to my eldest son when he was a baby, so always reminds me of him. I loved the film Yesterday, but can't help thinking their music wouldn't be so popular if it was released now. A fun idea for a film tho.

It wouldn't be so easy for The Beatles if they were starting out today, mainly because all the best catchy tunes have been done. It must be very difficult these days to come up with a truly original melody.
I was listening to this song the other day... Cilla led a charmed life - wanting to be a singer and being friends with The Beatles. McCartney wrote the song for her.
