Everything we see around us is proof of its own existence, that's all. To say any more than that is just speculation. I was hoping you would have a better reason than that for thinking God was there.

No, I'm saying I don't know how everything came to exist, and why it ended up like it did. That's the only sensible thing I can say. And I'm not speculating about not knowing, because I'm sure that I don't know.

I don't believe your God does exist, but that's not the same as saying I believe he doesn't exist. He might exist for all I know, but I just don't have any reason to think he does, so it isn't something I believe. I suppose I do have some sort of world view, but when I don't know something, I accept that I don't know.
