Wouldn't you just love to get behind the wheel of one of those mean, throaty engines? Previously they only had 4 gears and rack/pinion steering? I would have thought power steering would be less tiring for the drivers, shows how much I know about racing cars. Thanks for the links to these videos.
But that reminds me, yesterday I was parked alongside a Ford Mustang. Now that is a real beast of a car, and probably the closest Nascar type I could aspire to in the 'reasonably priced' car range. I think the 5.0 litre V8 top of the range model is only £50k . . .I say 'only'

There is also a qualifying session @4pm UK time ,

With Nascar leaving their roots and adding European style race tracks to the schedule it truly is the most diverse now of all the racing series and the future looks huge.

Let's hope they never adopt Monaco lol

Nascar COTA Highlights ,

The race was stopped short by 14 Laps as the weather was causing Hydroplaning down the straights ,

Larson denied a win again as Elliot needed fuel , he takes a 3rd 2nd place in a row as lady luck is deserting him ,

Kyle has led more laps than anyone else this year and he is dominating most races,

Larson will be champ a year sooner than expected after landing the 5 ride @Hendrick
