As a matter of interest, what makes an F1 champion, Is it his skill or a super-duper car?
Are some cars better than others in some way?

Mostly, the car.
Thats why I love GT3, the continually adjusted balance of performance rules they have keep the cars different but the same, then its down to driver skill.

F1 always have a better team than the rest ,

Senna. Mansell and Hill at Williams
Schumaccer at Ferarri
Vettel Red Bull
Hamilton Mercedes
Verstappen Red Bull

It will always be this way in F1 as its advertising and money driven.

It's never a fair race.

Thanks, but that raises another question, namely- as all cars have to conform to a fixed formula (Formula 1), why don't they all perform exactly the same, regardless of which team owns them?

I watch NASCAR on Viaplay (channel 420 on Sky). I do prefer the Oval tracks but I enjoyed the latest race so much that I felt the need to share the highlights with my forum chums. :)
Nascar driving around the streets of Chicago in the rain...

Yeah course even with the best car you still have to put it on Pole and win the races ,

I'm not saying he sucks am i lol,

He's like Senna in a lot of ways , over emotional made a lot of unforced errors in a McLaren but yeah he's good.

Think before covid and the race he just missed he had something like 270 odd GP starts without missing any !!

So yeah .
But dude. You;re wearing shades and facing somewhere else. How could you be wrong about this important sh**!? It is like your pic suits your point so so so so well. It;s like you should be the poster child for F1.. cos well. .it is so so so so amazing.

Aintree is known for The Grand National, I bet few know that it used to be the home of The British Grand Prix. Look at the drivers... no seat belts and some just wearing T-shirts! Racing drivers these days don't know they're born! :)
