Is age a factor in relationships?

" the "young women " they refer to are females aged over 21 ,not really illegal eh ?"

This got me thinking. Hells has raised a valid point here yet I (personally) found it, idk, weird? Why do i? He's right, they're well over the legal age of consent. If both parties are happy who am I to judge? Especially when I believe in each to their own, none it harm.

Is it a biological thing? Primal?

Males desiring the young fertile females?

Does it repel women more than men?

At the end of the day, it really is, as long as no one is getting hurt....' each to their own'.

Some older women prefer much younger men, that makes more sense to me, especially regarding sex. Women often get a second surge after the menopause, whereas the male libido can drop faster. Their brain may be willing but the body cant co-operate, there is help though...ask Pele'.

Older men like to be seen with a young woman, possibly more to stroke their ego than to stroke anything else.

My OH is older than me (5 weeks) thankfully we have waxed and waned at about the same rate.;)

It's clearly a factor in extramarital affairs because it's exceedingly rare for a married man to have a fling with an older woman...

That's true.
And some men are even attracted to a younger version of the wife they are cheating on...trying to recapture their youth, no doubt.

A man decades older than a girl he's flirting with comes across as creepy. Same applies to women. It's also deluded. And desperate. It's one thing for someone within a ten to 20 year difference but fifty odd years? Coming on sexually to someone young enough to be your grandchild? No.

They say the biggest aphrodisiac is youth. So, an older man is more likely trying to recapture his own youth when he does this.

Say silly old man who has just compared bringing someone's age into a conversation akin to "racism".

Loony tune.

Now apparently age is an issue after all.

I had a hysterectomy pre menopause, but it had the same effect.
No worry of periods, no need for birth control, it was very liberating.
Also at this age, kids are becoming independent, more free time to spend together too.
So I do think many women do get a second surge.:)

It is perfectly normal, but when a 78 year old bloke is chatting to a 20 something girl, in a flirty/sexual way, I find that very creepy. What exactly are they expecting?
Have you been listening in to my PM`s then Bad ? ye nosy fkr ! can`t you get one of your own ?.
To the other women on this thread who are open minded about most things :- i talk to the young shop assistant who serves me in Tesco. I talk to the female paramedics when i was hospitalised earlier this year. i talk to my neighbour ,my old workmates( who are years younger than me )
Bad ...you need to see a Shrink asap man ,did you lead a shallow life ? I even talk to my two daughters ! both younger than me .
I have a new nick for you Bad ... Sad ! start living in the real world where socialising means "talking " to people .

Get real all of you ! A Man is a man at any age . You live in a very sheltered life methinks . Why not ask some of the "young " ladies who i say "hello " to if i talk in a "sexy flirty "manner ? I`m pretty sure many of the younger women wouldn`t say "NO" to a few weeks with Rod Stewart or Mike Jagger ?.

Older men in relationships must be grateful that Viagra is now available over the counter. Which is fortunate, because just try getting it on
prescription. For the NHS to prescribe medication there has to be a perceived need for it. How do you prove you need Viagra?

When i was diagnosed a few years back with Diabetes 2 my GP just handed me a box and told me to use them I didn`t even know what they were at the time until i read instructions :). At he time i didn`t even need to use them ,i possibly required something for the opposite symptoms :)

My libido never returned after my hysterectomy. Pre surgery I was rampant!

There is a risk with everything.
I imagine many men will take the possible risk of taking prescribed Viagra if it enables them to perform again.

I think it can happen if your ovaries are taken out when you have the hysterectomy, mine were left in.
Some women take HRT after...obviously it's not suitable for all.
