Yep, in my 20s, for about 6 months, i put notes in neighbours milk bottles, i didnt like.
Bacon eggs, lemonade, the lot.
The police came to my house, i said, ive no ideal what you are on about, i tried to shut the door,
A struggle, happened, and, the 600 milk bottles, in my hallway went everywhere.
Bang to rights.
If a neighbour really annoys me, i wont hesitate, in changing his tv over with my controls.

My GrandMother had a few memorable sayings.
"If its and, and
were pots and pans.
There'd be no work for tinker's hands.

When she couldn't remember the name of a certain item, she would say -
"Where is that thing of purpose?"

"Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to thier level and beat you with experience".
Always loved that one by Mark Twain.

However, one that I often think about is Dostoevsky in his book "The Idiot".
"It is better to be unhappy and know the worst, than to be happy in a fool's paradise."

I'd rather interperate that to "It is better to be unhappy and doubt, than to be happy in certainty"
Is that really true?
I dont know, certainty to me, has always been an anethema, how can one be certain of anything?
Certainty implies either Faith or Arrogance.
One is sure because one views something as fact without needing evidence, or because one believes it so given the evidence we have.

Given the changing nature of knowledge, how can anyone be certain of anything?

"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge, it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science."
Charles Darwin.
