If you dissect a bird
To diagram the tongue
You'll cut the chord
Articulating song.

If you flay a beast
To marvel at the mane
You'll wreck the rest
From which the fur began.

If you pluck out the heart
To find what makes it move,
You'll halt the clock
That syncopates our love.

Forgive me for being abrupt with you. I appreciate that threads can get so long that you just don't have the time to read through them. Some people don't even get past looking at the five new posts featured on the home page.

I had to google 'admonition', it's bloody awful being so uneducated, but yeah, it was a lovely poem.
