I don't know if I am classed as a feminist or not...I like fair play, maybe to some that makes me a hardened feminist, especially on here.

Sex workers and prostitutes need all the support they can get....preferably enough support so they have the choice to earn money in a less risky way.

Many times lower socioeconomic prostitution is to feed a drug habit, although not always.
Some do it to supplement income from another job, some do it as a main form of income.
Some do it simply because they enjoy it, thats getting toward the middle class though.

There are many "bored housewives" who do it for fun and treats, but they usually attract only one or two clients at a time.
Same with university students who sign up for Sugar Daddy (and Sugar Mommy) sites and stay with only one client who pays them well.
Some universities even promote the life style to help with fee's.

Upper class prostitution is a different story, some are psychologically damaged, or want to get out of the mummy and daddy supply line.
Others see it as a way to get what they want by having a career they control 100%.

As far as forced immigrant prostitution goes it's actually not as big a problem as people think.
Imported, or trafficked prostitution, while horrendous is actually a small number compared to those who choose to do it for a living or are forced to do it because of the system.
