That's 12.30am UK time if my maths is up to scratch, a bit late for me but i'll try to catch the first hour :)
It will probably be 1am by the time they finish faffing about XD

I'll drop the highlights anyway on the Sunday as long as Kyle doesn't DNF cause I'll be crying lol

F1 2021 car v 2022 ....
Less aero is meant to be the plan to promote overtaking without DRS or a Boost of any kind

You weren't kidding about all the faffing around, but it was interesting to watch all the pre-race build-up for the first time, the drivers being introduced, all the razzmatazz etc. The U.S really know how to put on sporting events. I watched the race till the end of the first stage, an amazing last few laps. Thanks for the link to the highlights.

I believe that the #5 car must win tonight @ Las Vegas to have any chance of the title and advancing into the round of 8 ,

The round of 8 tracks and the finale @ Phoenix he loves ,

After this week in Vegas the Playoffs go to Talladega (Gulps) and Martinsville ,

Larson does not race @ Talladega or Daytona well as he dislikes a restricted engine and these massive tracks where car control is not as important as knowing how to position your car in a pack using the draft as the main tool ,

I have often wondered why he is this way but i guess as he was bought up racing short dirt ovals in the world of Outlaws etc it just isn't his thing ,

Martinsville is so unpredictable nobody can be assured of a win there ,

A Win is needed tonight in Vegas , then i believe the Nascar Title will be in his grasp ,

Lets gooo Kyle the time is now .......

Formula E becomes first sport to join Science Based Targets initiative to tackle global warming.

Formula E brings racing tech to the road. With some of the biggest car and racing brands going head to head on the streets, Formula E is more than just a racing series - it's a battle for the future. Our cars, powered by pure electricity, pave the way for the cars of tomorrow. - fiaformulae.com

The SBTi is a partnership between the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI), CDP and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and is the lead partner of the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign - an urgent call to action from a global coalition of UN agencies, business and industry leaders, mobilizing companies to set net-zero science-based targets in line with a 1.5°C future.

Announced during Climate Week NYC on the one-year anniversary of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship becoming the first and only sport to be certified net zero carbon since inception, the new commitment corresponds to cutting the championship's emissions by 45% by 2030. This is in line with the mission of the planet’s favourite sport to reduce air pollution and fight against climate change and aligns with the FIA #PurposeDriven movement for a better contribution from motorsport to society.

Formula E has committed to new measures to meet its targets including reducing its absolute Scope 1&2 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions (all energy used and purchased at our HQ and events) by 60% by 2030 and Scope 3 GHG emissions (all other emissions including freight, business travels, food and beverages etc.) by 27.5% by 2030 from Season 5 (2019) baselines.

In aligning with the SBTi, Formula E has also become a member of the Race To Zero global campaign to rally leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions and investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth.

Jamie Reigle, Formula E Chief Executive Officer, said: “The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship exists to accelerate sustainable human progress through the power of electric racing. One year ago, Formula E became the first sport to be certified net zero since inception. Today, we achieve another first in aligning with the Science Based Targets initiative, reinforcing our leading position in world sport.

“We are delighted to see a host of other sporting events and properties accelerate their own sustainability agendas to reach net zero faster. Formula E will continue to set the agenda for sport as a catalyst for change and showcase how we can all take tangible steps to reduce our combined carbon footprint.”

Alberto Carrillo Pineda, Managing Director, Science Based Targets at CDP said: "We congratulate the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on setting science-based targets consistent with limiting warming to 1.5°C, the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement. By setting ambitious science-based targets grounded in climate science, Formula E is taking action to prevent the most damaging effects of climate change."

Envision Virgin Racing made use of Audi's all-new powertrain, designed and built in-house for its final Formula E campaign, to draw level with the manufacturer in the standings. Robin Frijns was a season-long pacesetter after podiums in Diriyah and Monaco but the Dutchman slipped to fourth in the Drivers' running at the last. Rookie Nick Cassidy consistently impressed and a storming second half of his season yielded two trips to the rostrum of his own, in Puebla and New York City. The squad will be one to watch again in Season 8.

Highlights from Vegas ,

Hendrick make a bad call leaving all 4 cars out when all other cars pitted for fuel ,
Will Byron , Alex Bowman and Kyle Larson marred back in the pack ,

Denny Hamlin wins and Locks into the round of 8 along with Larson who has enough points to send him through also,

Dangerous decision to have Dega as a playoff race ,

Larson , Hamlin need nothing from this race ,
The other 10 hoping to make the last 8 will risk all ,

May they all be safe and no cars break up and go into the crowd ....♡♡♡
