The 2021 Champ was eliminated after hitting the wall and breaking a rear tow link sending him 5 laps down.
Larson will be back in 2023 hopefully with a better grip on the next gen car.

Truly gutted.
Too many mistakes means the #5 will not make the round of 8 or 4 so no title defence is possible.

Suspended just for one race? It should have been a hell of a lot more... The first coming together was simply a racing incident, it happens. But to then go after him and spin him off the track, at that speed it was bloody dangerous. And as for him throwing his weight around at the end... I was glad Larson showed he was the bigger man by not responding. I'm going to see if I can catch the race highlights later on Freesport so i can see it all in more detail. Thanks for the link.
