The big one! I'm going to make every effort to watch this one live. I may be showing my ignorance of NASCAR (again ) But I wasn't too keen on the dirt race. To me, it seemed to be more about luck than skill, like they were driving on ice. But I loved that last corner when the 14 car tried to slide into the lead, almost pulled it off. It was a bit of a motor racing marathon for me yesterday, what with 8 hours of British touring car racing on ITV and then Talladega. I had people round, so couldn't give it my full attention. A great race, I do love these superspeedways. I thought Larson had it in the bag there, on the last lap in 2nd place, getting a push from the 3rd car. Then the lead car takes him too wide, leaving the pushing car to slip through for the win. I was watching his interview after the race, and he said he was just where he wanted to be, but inexperience cost him the race.
I was reminded of when Mansell missed out on the Indy500 through inexperience, with a few laps to go when in the lead, on a restart he allowed cars to pass him. Mansell never got another chance to win the Indy500. but Larson's day will come, no doubt about it.

Larson has never even had a top 5 on a Superspeedway ,
When he was pushed by Chastain on the final lap he had to go high I believe or finish 2nd behind Erik Jones ,
Its progression for me ,
I enjoyed the race ,
Need to catch up on F1 and Touring cars tbf
