I haven't paid much attention to F1 since the debacle in 2008? when only half a dozen cars started the U.S Grand Prix. I honestly thought that after that, F1 would be dead, especially in the States. I watched some of the highlights of yesterday's race and was pleased to see them restart the race, if only for one lap! It's bit of an anti-climax when the race ends with the pace/safety car.

It must be wonderful to be be at those oval tracks, a fantastic experience, and I think it was you who pointed it out, that unlike in F1, the cars are in view all the time. Roll on the new season!

They have built a new Track in LA at that stadium ,

It is not really a Race" it is the "Clash" race for the Daytona 500 ,

The duels to set the grid will still be @Daytona x

I don't know how i came to be reading about L.A and how The Rams old stadium is now a racetrack, I thought I'd wandered in to some twilight
zone. Thanks for clearing it up for me. I've just googled some pictures of it, looks amazing.

My prediction for 2022

Kyle Larson started the 2021 season as a coming off a year ban underdog ,

In a new team , new pit crew and more importantly a crew chief he'd never even met ,

He won 10 races and the All Star Race in Texas

He destroyed his teamate Chase Elliot in the same equipment,

Chase , the 2020 Champ was left dismayed and questioning his own ability as Larson literally made him look silly ,

I'll say this , Kyle obviously has now got used to his new team and car ,

The older drivers are still clinging on , Truex Jnr , both Busch brothers , Hamlin etc all the wrong side of 40

I see records broken this year and another Larson championship .....

Overtaking looks nigh on impossible on that track. I much prefer the big ovals, just for the sheer speed they go at. Thanks for the link.

I know , it's only a 1/4 mile , no where near big enough , the new cars look great though huh and sound awesome XD
