NOT SATIRE - unfortunately

‘Vaccine Police’ Founder Claims Drinking Urine Is Covid-19 Antidote

What’s the latest so-called Covid-19 antidote being pushed by an anti-vaxxer? Well, urine for a surprise.

Yes, Christopher Key, who maintains the Vaccine Police anti-vaxx website, is apparently now touting urine therapy. In this case, urine therapy is not sitting down with a jug of your urine and talking about its feelings. Instead, it’s drinking your own urine, because why not, right? After all, what won’t anti-vaxxers and others pushing different so-called alternative therapies try to convince you to do instead of getting Covid-19 vaccines?

In a video posted on his Telegram account, Keys suggested putting into your mouth what normally goes into the toilet. Just take a look at the clip of the video accompanying the following tweet from Tom Osinski, MD, who incidentally is a urology resident at the University of Rorchester Medical Centre and thus should know at least a wee bit about urine:

As you can see, this clip started off with Key telling his audience, “We have the antidote. And the antidote is even for those who’ve been vaccinated.” Then, before revealing what this “antidote” may be, he prefaced the big reveal with a few other statements such as “they’re going to tear me apart, but hey they tear me apart all the time” and “when I tell you this, please take it with a grain of salt, but go do the research.” Incidentally, urine does tend to have some sodium in it, but that may not have been the “grain of salt” that Key was alluding to in his statement.

Key eventually got to his key urine punch line with: “The antidote that we have seen now, and we have tons and tons of research, is urine therapy.”

He continued with “OK, and I know to a lot of you this sounds crazy, but guys, God’s given us everything we need.”

Aubameyang diagnosed with ‘cardiac lesions’ at Afcon after Covid positive result

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been diagnosed with heart lesions after recovering from Covid-19 at the Africa Cup of Nations. The Arsenal forward was ruled out of Gabon’s 1-1 draw against Ghana on Friday.

The “cardiac lesions” were found in a check by Confederation of African Football (CAF) medical officials, the Gabonese FA said in a statement. Officials examined Aubameyang after he returned following a positive Covid test. Two of his Gabon teammates, forward Axel Meyé and midfielder Mario Lemina, were both also found to have the same issues

Aubameyang tested positive at an airport on arrival in Cameroon last week and was put into isolation. The 32-year-old missed Gabon’s first game of the tournament, a 1-0 win over Comoros. He tested negative for the virus and left isolation two days before the Ghana game and had been expected to return to the team.

The Athletic (£) reports that Arsenal’s doctors are thought to have spoken to Gabon’s medical team about the diagnosis, and have been reassured the player is feeling well and the situation is not serious.

Bayern’s Davies to miss Canada qualifiers due to signs of heart muscle inflammation after contracting Covid-19.

Alphonso Davies will miss three World Cup qualifiers for Canada due to signs of heart muscle inflammation after contracting Covid-19.

Earlier on Friday, Davies was ruled out “for some time” by Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann after signs of mild myocarditis were detected. The 21-year-old wing-back tested positive for Covid earlier in January.

Canada Soccer has now confirmed that Davies will miss games against Honduras, USA and El Salvador between 27 January and 2 February. The news is a blow for a Canada side that lead the final round of Concacaf qualifying and are closing in on a place at the 2022 World Cup.

(VAERS)

Like other spontaneous reporting systems, VAERS has several limitations, including underreporting, unverified reports, inconsistent data quality, and inadequate data about the number of people vaccinated. Due to the program's open and accessible design and its allowance of unverified reports, incomplete VAERS data is often used in false claims regarding vaccine safety. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has warned that raw data from VAERS is not enough to determine whether a vaccine can cause a particular adverse event.

Jim Laidler, an advocate of alternative autism therapies, once reported to VAERS that a vaccine had turned him into The Incredible Hulk.

The report was accepted and entered into the database, but the dubious nature thereof prompted a VAERS representative to contact Mr. Laidler, who then gave his consent to delete the report.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, raw VAERS data has often been disseminated by anti-vaccine groups in order to justify misinformation and safety claims related to COVID-19 vaccines, including adverse reactions and alleged fatalities claimed to have been caused by vaccines.

Websites such as Medalerts (published by the anti-vaccine group National Vaccine Information Centre) and OpenVAERS (which published a tally of vaccine adverse events and fatalities allegedly linked to COVID-19 vaccines based on VAERS data), have been linked to this misinformation.

Comparative studies of VAERS, which look at relative reporting rates, have found that the data does not support these claims.
