Marcus Rashford is now being placed in a similar category by the hard-right as another young black football player, Mason Greenwood, who today stands accused of the most heinous crime against a young woman. The racist poison that seeps throughout British society and that is no different from the poison of misogyny that blights so many women's lives in the UK today. A black player is accused of a wicked crime and they instantly manipulate the situation to include and attack the reputation of other black players.

The same Marcus Rashford who spearheaded a campaign during the Covid-19 pandemic to force various government u-turns that ensured millions of vulnerable people and children who otherwise would have gone hungry went to bed with a full stomach. Rashford experienced exactly the same poverty and deprivation during his own childhood that blight so many other lives today. Absolutely adores his mother, a proud woman who worked all the hours God sends, in three jobs, to support her children and who is a role model herself. Rashford is a decent man, a man who is unselfishly giving back, making a real change to the lives of others less fortunate than him, and a man who reached the pinnacle of his chosen career despite all the obstacles placed in his path.

To place him in the same category as an alleged woman-beating sadist demonstrates the depths the poisonous hard-right are prepared to stoop to. These people must be challenged at all times and exposed at all times and these people should have no hiding place at all and particularly behind the relative safety of a computer screen.

We already know Marcus Rashford is specifically targeted by the patriot hard-right for other than footballing reasons due to his promotion of equal rights for black men and women and support for the BLM movement.

The hard-right element in football always have a ready-meal of an excuse at hand but ultimately they demonstrably target black players over white players. The statistics on racism in the UK bear grim reading and are on a par with domestic violence, misogyny, and homophobia.

The actual accusations against Mason Greenwood came about only after his alleged victims Instagram account was 'hacked'.... The reluctance of the alleged victim to report these events directly to the police when they allegedly occurred demonstrates that women have no faith whatsoever in the British Justice system when it comes to wealthy individuals/and face the same prejudice that ethnic minorities deal with on a daily basis. Particularly online where the verminous patriot hard-right can scuttle about in the shadows spreading their lies and misinformation in order to blemish the reputation of black men and women and further their own racist ideology.
