I am currently watching the classic tv series 'Lost in space' on the horror channel! Sky 317 (other tv providers are available)

So what's your favourite tv series, whether from your childhood or something newer?

Because I cannot abide the current flood of British dramas and tedious US imports of dubious quality, I am happy to resort to watching episodes of Peep Show, Mitchell and Webb, and practically anything made by Pemberton and Shearsmith from the League of Gentlemen. For me, comedy is the best tonic.

Oh from the long distant past Emergency Ward 10, and Z Cars. Not so distant Dickson of Dock Green, Luke's Kingdom, and The Quest. A bit later The Professionals, Heartbeat, All Creatures Great and Small, London's Burning and Casualty. Most recently Call the Midwife and very little else.
