I was in Asda early this morning and bumped into an old acquaintance whom I hadn't seen for years. We stopped and chatted for a good while, then went our ways. In the next aisle, our paths crossed again. I just didn't know what the correct etiquette was... Do I stop and chat again... just nod.. or ignore them? I ended up just smiling and carried on, but then the old neurosis kicked in... what do I do if we meet in the next aisle? An irrational fear made me go in a different direction, straight to the Deli counter, then to the check-out. Silly, I know... :(
omg thats the easiest one ever.. pick up a cucumber from the Isle and go looking for the aquiantance, swing it good..and thats that.

I get a feeling of dread whenever tradesmen ask if they can use my Loo. Out of common decency you can't say no. But I always wonder if they'll
sprinkle over the toilet seat, dirty my lovely new hand towels etc. I had a moment this morning when the man who came to read the gas meter asked if he could....you know... Anyway after he'd gone I entered the bathroom to be pleasantly surprised, it was spotless. :)

I'm afraid of flying. Well, actually, not flying, so much as falling. I hate getting on a plane. I imagine it breaking apart and me getting sucked out five miles high and tumbling for 3 or 4 minutes to the ground. I'm quite ghoulish, so I've even researched it. Initially, hypoxia would make you black out, but there is a good chance that you might come round when the oxygen levels improve. Absolutely irrational, because the chances of it happening are almost zero. Actually, in my case, it's absolutely zero, because as BA Baracus said, "I ain't gettin' on no plane, foo!"

Suicide by pilot taking all his passengers with him is on the increase. That crosses my mind every time I board an aircraft.
