tell me about your Jesus? is God a God of love or a God of war? or both? this is a song as a reminder of history. you cant hide from history, as an English reformed Christian I'm not ashamed of what the church has achieved are you?
Hi Joe,
The church? Whilst I think that the (English) church as a community has been and is very good, it's roots stretch back in to pagan times and much of it is founded on pagan cultures.

But the Christian church so changed and manipulated what Jesus said and did in to a very wicked institution.

And good example of this is shown in Paul's letters to the congregations. Apart from his constant repitition of the last meal and resurrection, Paul did not write one single sentence about anything that Jesus said or did! That'll show you how interested the early Church was in Jesus.

what dominion church are you from. so you think the reformation was bad and we should still be subject to the pope? you have a weird out look on the bible.

as I have said, I hold to all the confessions fought for through history. please explain your dominion. I've never heard the church refuse Pauls teaching unless its Christian socialism and he chucks a spanner in their works.

paul was one of the greatest missionaries in Christian history, what's your point.?

you sound like a catholic or part of the assemblies of God.?

I don't belong to a church......I'm a Deist.

Paul didn't teach a sentence about anything that Jesus said or did. He was only interested in the communion and resurrection.
I find that to be very telling.

He pushed his own religion, certainly not anything that Jesus wanted.

I'm a Deist.

I was raised Catholic. Both my parents were Irish. My father wasn't very religious but my mother was, sometimes in the extreme.

The stories of the Bible....Those stories... I was told as a kid..!

Phew.

I'm an Atheist.

Factual Evidence points towards life on earth started with Bacterial mats on the Ocean floor. Salty water, slightly warmed by the SUN. Add a few carbon and other atoms from exploding stars and Bingo.. Life started.

Why would we need a GOD to start life on earth when nature was perfectly capable of doing it?

Why are there so many GODS? Which is the RIGHT one? (There can only be ONE.)

A believer in the Christian God would say this and the believer in another religion would say that.

What makes YOUR god more believable than another's?

good question. first of all, whether catholic or protestant the differences believed are nothing to do with salvation. salvation is believing that Jesus paid the price for our sins. what is sin exactly? sin is transgression against the law or 10 commandment. so certain points will always be argued as we can see in the 7 letters in the book of revelation.

most of the main world religions all believe in creation. so billions of people around the world believe the world was created for 1000s of years this as been believed.

then you get to the point of Darwinism and evolution that is just another religion how ever you want to dress it up, it a theory or philosophy.

the major difference in Christianity and the other world religions is they believe that if you do good it pays for your sins, that's why the jews would like to rebuild the 3rd temple to start re sacrificing animals.

I believe that man is that fallen that there in nothing good enough to atone for his sins only accepting what Christ did on the cross to pay for them.

ask any other religion how you get to heaven, and they will say by doing good.

the people who believe nothing created everything, when the properties of nothing means it doesn't exist are the winners. congratulations for winning your case.

It wasn't a case to be won...It's called evolution.

You can argue about GOD's.. But you can't argue about Evolution.

The problem here is, people often equate "the church" with what the Bible says. Also, they claim "facts" when they don't actually know or understand something. It's a very stupid thing to do. In the future, these people will be our tradespeople, building bridges. They'll get to the interview, lie to the interviewee, then get on the job and not know anything, but cause death and disaster.
You make a fair point here.

Well, actually mate, he did. Here are some examples.
Romans: "For if by one man’s trespass many died, how much more did the undeserved kindness of God and his free gift by the undeserved kindness of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to many!" <--something Jesus did
Romans: "The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are God’s children. If, then, we are children, we are also heirs—heirs indeed of God, but joint heirs with Christ—provided we suffer together so that we may also be glorified together." <-- something Jesus said. Although the "new covenant" was prophesied through the prophets, like Jeremiah, the actual ruling as joint heirs with Christ was only given by Christ himself.
1 Corinthians: "For I decided not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ, and him executed on the stake." <--something Jesus did
1 Corinthians: "To the married people I give instructions, not I but the Lord, that a wife should not separate from her husband. But if she does separate, let her remain unmarried or else be reconciled with her husband; and a husband should not leave his wife." <-- Here, Paul paraphrases something Jesus said.
2 Corinthians: "For just as the sufferings for the Christ abound in us, so the comfort we receive through the Christ also abounds. Now if we face trials, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are being comforted, it is for your comfort, which acts to help you to endure the same sufferings that we also suffer." <-- something Jesus did
2 Corinthians: "For we are overturning reasonings and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ;" <-- something Jesus said. I mean, how can one be "obedient to the Christ" unless "the Christ" had said something?
Those are the first three letters written by Paul, and from this, it is plain that Paul did write about what he heard and saw from, or about the Christ.

The 'Spirit'...Itself bears witness with our spirit that we are GOD' S Children..?

All good and well.. What about the UNBORN who will REPLACE those.... BUT who have NOT been Chosen?

Paul was a Wanker and did nothing to actually help anyone.

Moses never existed and ...At least in the Biblical story was a 'Prototype' For 'Jesus'.

Jesus Christ Never existed.
