The car was in for a service yesterday and there was no courtesy car so I just told them to come and collect it. I had a doctor's appointment so I had to get the bus. I was stood there at the bus stop for ages all on my lonesome and on the opposite side of the road was a schoolkid waiting for a bus, and for some odd reason it awakened a long forgotten memory. I must have been around 13 waiting for the bus, I was the only one there. Then two women came at the same time but they weren't together. Eventually the bus turned up but it was rammed full. One person got off and the driver shouted that only one could come on. I went to get on, but one of the women went to push in front of me, the other woman pulled her up and said to her that I was first and told me to get on the bus. I wish I'd said something, I didn't even thank her for standing up for me. I suppose life is full of woulda, coulda, shoulda's...
Isn't the human brain the most amazing thing? Everything you've ever seen, heard or done is stored there, it just takes something to trigger a recall. Anyway, forgive me for blogging on the forum.
