That could be one interpretation.
They probably are though, men are not usually so bitter and jealous of others they perceive to be happier, better, or whatever goes through the minds.

Soss yourself silly, didn't know what that meant so did a little rummage online.


Soss;

Anything dirty or muddy; a dirty puddle.

To fall suddenly into a chair or seat; to sit lazily.

To throw in a negligent or careless manner; to toss.

A heavy fall.


Only meaning there that makes sense to me is the third, to toss. Toss yourself silly. Very clever.

Should you need it at the end of a long week, to 'soss' (18th century) is to flop heavily onto the nearest sofa/chair/bed.


My 'Soss yourself silly', was a recommendation to totally chillax.
