Try deleting you history, your cache and restarting your device. Failing that ... think a BFH is required !

It actually happened to me as well, I deleted my browsing history (Temporary internet files) as Soon as I did that I got into chats just fine.

I have the same issue accessing chat from a phone. I have rare occasions it lets me in, but thumb typing isn't my cuppa either...so cyas in chat in a couple of wèks.
