As "cuz" is a Maori term for a family member there is no reason to use a comma as the word is being borrowed.

If you want to use "cuz" instead of "because" you should use the apostrophe to indicate the omission of letters and the unusual spelling.
I disagree. I think you need the apostrophe when shortening to 'cause. 'Cuz' is just gangsta, innit. ;)

I, for one, am unaware of the full Covid restrictions for me. I haven't kept up! I know that last weekend, our restrictions were lifted somewhat. 6 people were allowed to meet somewhere after that. Many of my friends, colleagues and relatives and I will be carrying on as before. We have no real need to go anywhere or meet anyone in a hurry and are quite happy to keep our heads down and go where we need to.

I will continue to go to work (I have to), Asda (we eat food), my mum's (they need aid) and to the beach as I have done since the start of this pandemic and that'll do for now. I was vaccinated some weeks ago but I don't wish to spread the thing and don't need to have a party.

It's worth pointing out I don't live in cramped conditions in a high rise flat with no garden; I don't have lots of energetic children who require entertaining; we have miles of walking where you won't even meet a car. This might go some way to explaining why I don't need to monitor the restrictions avidly and why, although my situation is fine, I have nothing but sympathy for those who really need to start getting out and seeing people. It is for these reasons that I think the issue isn't that easy to compartmentalise.

In an ideal world, we'd all be vaccinated and stay hermitty a bit longer. It won't harm me to carry on for a while.

I use the word Cause if not Because it's proper English and a few more letters longer for a word is not going to take up the whole page and it's more clearer somewhere all are in the same page then as it's an English word. Not lazy jargon which can cause confusion

Dear Doctor Hilary,

Since the Covid jab I have had an insatiable urge to shovel cheap cheddar cheese down my throat, is this a side effect of the vaccine or is it just because I am a fat barsteward?

Yours Sincerely,

Mr C McCovidiot

You do make an interesting observation. Evidence is emerging (common sense) that lower-income households were hardest hit by Covid and not only in the context of catching/transmitting the actual virus but also housing conditions etc, service sector jobs where they could not work from home and access to safe/er green space and virtual learning facilities, etc. The three vaccines currently available also differ in effectiveness and cost. I am curious if the vaccines have been distributed universally and exactly who received the £3 and who received the £30 vaccine.

What's more important is that the "vaccine" does not confer immunity. The manufacturer has made it clear that it prevents neither infection nor transmission. But everyone and their uninformed brother still believes that it does. So, now that you know that the "vaccine" has not been shown to prevent infection or transmission, are you ready to admit that the difference between the "vaccinated" and the unvaccinated is a difference without a distinction?

Until you're ready to call this hypocritical, lying authority figure on his irresponsible and selfish request that you do as he says and not as he does, you're going to run to get the "vaccine" so that you can finally wear a mask and social distance again. Yes, believe it or not, that's a great bargain in the mind of some cuz they're intellectually lazy and dishonest with themselves. And that kind of laziness goes way beyond using the word "cuz."

it's more clearer
Yeah, I wonder about people who waste page space with redundancies like that one. Is it about laziness, or is it about someone who didn't bother to learn good grammar before criticizing others?

Yes! Why is it that people think this?
It was on daytime tv this week - maybe Loose Wimmin - a discussion on whether they would now only allow vaccinated people into their homes (when visits are allowed). On they wittered, 'Oh, no, I will only allow my vaccinated friends in,' etc. No-one seemed to question that logic so I assumed I had missed some huge development. I hadn't, it seems. Then there's the vaccine passport. What?! I have a card to say I was vaccinated, signed by the perpetrator (hellish side effects), so why do I need a passport to say I have had it? Also, I am vaccinated, might get a passport and could still touch every surface I can in an airport and cough like a 60-a-dayer all over the plane and spread my Covid germs, possibly with no symptoms myself - but it'd be ok because I'd have a passport to say I could spread it where I liked...

:"Gangsta innit" as you mentioned, I found quite humorous.

I was tipping my hat to your comment. Paraphrasing some of the giants of the genre seemed appropriate.
It did and it was and I can just picture you now in your tracksuit and thick 'gold' chains. ;)
