Yeah but it's important to go through the motions . . .

Perhaps.....For you sad folks who have nothing else better to do.

If you don't care to answer for the other sad folk who refuse to, what are you doing in this thread?

There would have been a comma after cuz if I had intended it to mean cousin.
As "cuz" is a Maori term for a family member there is no reason to use a comma as the word is being borrowed.

If you want to use "cuz" instead of "because" you should use the apostrophe to indicate the omission of letters and the unusual spelling.

In the first place, "because" is never replaced with "cause" because "because" is a conjunction, while "cause" is a noun. And "cause" as a noun takes precedent over the contraction. Obviously if "cause" is no cause for an apostrophe, then "cuz", being even more informal that "cause", is even less cause for a preceding apostrophe.

As "cuz" is a Maori term for a family member there is no reason to use a comma as the word is being borrowed.

You should have placed a comma after "member".

Ladies all across the world, listen up
We're looking for recruits

If you're with me,
Let me see your hands,
Stand up and salute.

Get your killer heels, sneakers, pumps,
Or lace up your boots.

Representing all the women,
Salute, salute.

Cuz is an ancient word. It was frequently used in the 16th century. Shakespeare often made use of it to depict close friends or family relations.

I understand the point you're trying to make. But i don't think it's reasonable, neither do i think it's sensible to just place people into lockdown, especially young people, whose livelihoods have been taken away from them, and it's all been based on fear. Not only that, but mental and physical health will further decline if you just continue to place people into one bracket and decide to keep the lockdowns going.
I mean what has happened to people? Calling the Police on neighbours because they dared to go out twice a day for a walk.
Someone asked me once why people have started to act like this, and my response was that people were already that sick and twisted, but because of new government legislation, felt the need and self-entitlement to dictate what others should do, and how they should live their lives. After all, even that slight sense of power does corrupt people.
IMO....lockdown wouldn't have been necessary if people could be trusted to act responsibly. Advising people to follow certain precautions should have been enough. Sadly though, there are too many out there who think it's clever to ignore government advice, and they are the ones who have made full lockdown necessary.

Tony was seen at a ballgame without his mask. Pelosi in a hair salon, Newsome at a gathering, etc.

I want to be like Tony. What do I have to do to enjoy the same privileges as Tony! I want to be able to blame my obvious hypocrisy and selfishness on the "mischievousness" of the one who caught me screwing up. And I want others to ignore my hypocrisy while condemning it in others.

So, tell me what I have to do to be like Tony.

Deja vuccine

You are flogging a dead virus there.

The covid 'experts' will batter you with pseudoscience, fakery, made up guff, nonsense, extreme / rightwing balderdash, tinfoil hattery, trumpian karenitis, conspiracy theories and lies.

Leave them to it. As I will now do.

Best regards,

Didn't I just say that?

Tony and the others were caught out of character. Apparently, once you've given someone authority-figure status in your mind, you no longer have the critical thinking skills necessary to recognize a shameless hypocrite when you see one.

So, what do I have to do to avoid condemnation for not wearing a mask? What is it about Tony not wearing a mask that is different from me not wearing a mask? If I call you mischievous for catching me without a mask, will you give me the same pass as you give Tony? Will you assume the position of mischief maker?

What, you mean advice from TV Doctor, Doctor Hillary Jones, who advises people that they should wear a mask while swimming in the sea? Even he found it difficult to hold his composure in after delivering that gem.

On nationwide lockdowns, i don't think they were ever the answer, and i hold my view on that to this day. Instead, i think they're doing more damage to the mental and physical well being of individuals. We're talking increased levels of overindulgence, leading to obesity, which have effected people's general health. Closing the gyms haven't helped either, and i never understood why they closed them, as they may have been the safest places I've been to since the pandemic started. The cleanliness and safety was a high priority.

What do you mean if somebody wanted youngsters to behave irresponsible ? Only an idiot would WANT it when it's a death crisis ,. Do you not take into account that they have already said the existing vaccines might not work against the South African and Brazil varient? Do you not take those concerns into account or just think of the obvious behaving negligent ?

There are many idiots I’m afraid

The other problem is that people will have got out of the daily routine of getting up at a certain time and going out to work. Most of us have got used to slobbing around in leisure clothes. Self-discipline has taken a back seat.

Wojcik What a load of rubbish that is you come out with , Gyms would NOT of been the safe way because people sweat when exercising and playing sport and as covid is transmitted in droplets then excessive sweat is also made of droplets but in larger quantities which comes out if a personwhen getting hot from exercise .

The safest place to exercise would be outside like in playing fields and park which is what has been legal so there is no excuse to say there was nowhere a person could exercise and outside is not like as when inside enclosed spaces where droplets pass on alot easier inside. Maybe when you become a bit more educated how covid is past on between people then you might have more common sense, because inside enclosed spaces and excessive sweat is like jumping in front of a bus with suicidal behaviour . Plus as the equipment has to be shared then people leave their droplets on the equipment which then the next person who goes in that can pick it up spreading it even further and with cross contamination .
