Yeah but it's important to go through the motions . . .
Perhaps.....For you sad folks who have nothing else better to do.

If you don't care to answer for the other sad folk who refuse to, what are you doing in this thread?Perhaps.....For you sad folks who have nothing else better to do.
I'm doing what ever I want.If you don't care to answer for the other sad folk who refuse to, what are you doing in this thread?
Hey, me, too!I'm
I'm doing what ever I want.
As "cuz" is a Maori term for a family member there is no reason to use a comma as the word is being borrowed. There would have been a comma after cuz if I had intended it to mean cousin.
In the first place, "because" is never replaced with "cause" because "because" is a conjunction, while "cause" is a noun. And "cause" as a noun takes precedent over the contraction. Obviously if "cause" is no cause for an apostrophe, then "cuz", being even more informal that "cause", is even less cause for a preceding apostrophe. As "cuz" is a Maori term for a family member there is no reason to use a comma as the word is being borrowed.
If you want to use "cuz" instead of "because" you should use the apostrophe to indicate the omission of letters and the unusual spelling.

You should have placed a comma after "member".

IMO....lockdown wouldn't have been necessary if people could be trusted to act responsibly. Advising people to follow certain precautions should have been enough. Sadly though, there are too many out there who think it's clever to ignore government advice, and they are the ones who have made full lockdown necessary.I understand the point you're trying to make. But i don't think it's reasonable, neither do i think it's sensible to just place people into lockdown, especially young people, whose livelihoods have been taken away from them, and it's all been based on fear. Not only that, but mental and physical health will further decline if you just continue to place people into one bracket and decide to keep the lockdowns going.
I mean what has happened to people? Calling the Police on neighbours because they dared to go out twice a day for a walk.
Someone asked me once why people have started to act like this, and my response was that people were already that sick and twisted, but because of new government legislation, felt the need and self-entitlement to dictate what others should do, and how they should live their lives. After all, even that slight sense of power does corrupt people.
Didn't I just say that? The covid 'experts' will batter you with pseudoscience, fakery, made up guff, nonsense, extreme / rightwing balderdash,

What do you mean if somebody wanted youngsters to behave irresponsible ? Only an idiot would WANT it when it's a death crisis ,. Do you not take into account that they have already said the existing vaccines might not work against the South African and Brazil varient? Do you not take those concerns into account or just think of the obvious behaving negligent ?
The other problem is that people will have got out of the daily routine of getting up at a certain time and going out to work. Most of us have got used to slobbing around in leisure clothes. Self-discipline has taken a back seat. What, you mean advice from TV Doctor, Doctor Hillary Jones, who advises people that they should wear a mask while swimming in the sea? Even he found it difficult to hold his composure in after delivering that gem.
On nationwide lockdowns, i don't think they were ever the answer, and i hold my view on that to this day. Instead, i think they're doing more damage to the mental and physical well being of individuals. We're talking increased levels of overindulgence, leading to obesity, which have effected people's general health. Closing the gyms haven't helped either, and i never understood why they closed them, as they may have been the safest places I've been to since the pandemic started. The cleanliness and safety was a high priority.
