Even though there are some impatient people wnating everything back to normal sooner than is generally set out to be, better to take a little longer now and get it out the way once and for all than rush and unlock too soon and the lock down has to cme up again with things getting worse based on being too impatient . It will be best for the future in the long run.,

But if you wanted the youngsters to be irresponsible and spread it amongst the healthier end of the population now would be the time to have a spike,. Most vulnerable people have had their jabs, an outbreak in the under 40s wouldnt put too many in hospital and increase the level of antibodies up from the current 50% towards the 70% herd immunity level . You could get it back under control before winter and flu season kick in. and if it all goes wrong blame the French lorry drivers for bringing it over!

But life if not something to be taking gambles with when it's a death pandemic,. Plus there have been young who have died from it too and with the South African and Brazil out now as they said with this the young are being targeted just as much now. As they said people who put others at risk have blood on their hands .

What do you mean if somebody wanted youngsters to behave irresponsible ? Only an idiot would WANT it when it's a death crisis ,. Do you not take into account that they have already said the existing vaccines might not work against the South African and Brazil varient? Do you not take those concerns into account or just think of the obvious behaving negligent ?

You are obviously one of the irresponsible type who don't put priorities in the right order.

Also not everybody has had their vaccine yet and with the varients as does not count now as they said that there were a lot of young people in hospital with it before too . Why are you so irresponsible and into expecting people to take risks just because you our your privilege before health. You are not the only person out there you know, so why behave so selfish ?

All I was saying is what if I have condoned no irresponsible behavior or actions , I merely asked the question. With a vaccine only suggested to save a life in only 1:40000 ration in the younger populous rather than the much better results in the older population, it wouldn't make much difference on an overall scale if you waited until they were all vaccinated. We cannot indefinitely vaccinating people and are going to have to live with this with top ups only available for the vulnerable. Hence we need more natural exposure to put antibodies into the general populous. It just seems strange easing of restriction lines up with a few days off for easter and by letting people meet in groups in gardens they are just begging people to hold bbqs this weekend with all the drunken fun that brings. BBQ sales aren't up 400% for no reason and see how many bbq food suggestions pop up over the next few days.

STAY INDOORS,GET YOUR VACCINE AND TRUST NO ONE!

As they said people who put others at risk have blood on their hands .

But there have been very few recorded cases of young people dying from the virus, and we know those who had, had suffered from underlying health conditions. The virus made those worse. So i don't think we should be demonising young people, or anyone here. These are people who have had over a year of their lives taken away from them, had their college and university courses sacrificed, and have been shut in their houses, without seeing their friends and families in person, so i think we should cut them some slack.

And also, i think this will be the real test, whether or not the vaccinations will be as effective or not against this strand of the virus. We can't just keep young healthy people indoors, as their physical and mental health rots as a result. So I'm glad watching these young people enjoy themselves outside.

But of course that doesn't mean we shouldn't be careful and not keep watch to see if cases rise again. So this isn't a black and white issue for me. There are shades of grey, where both sides have valid arguments, for and against this.

Shouldn't that be up to the individual? Those who feel as though it's too dangerous to venture outside, stay indoors and remain indoors until they think it's safe to come outside. It's about self responsibility. Making what you think are the right choices for you. I don't believe anyone should be dictating what other people should or should not do, as long as they're not harming others. But that's just my viewpoint.

They are not only putting themselves at risk they are putting others at risk so it's it's not just them ,. If they want to put themself at risk that's up to them but when it involves others who are responsible and are being out at risk by selfish inconsiderate idiots then that's other people being put at risk by selfish idiots behaviour . why should responsible grown up who know right from wrong have their life be abused by selfish people who are not right in the head . It's not just themself who they are doing it too they are putting the whole community at risk when others are not asking to be punished for fools behaviour.

388 people under 60 with no underlying health conditions have died of covid in the Uk. You can't discuss the logic of deaths as a consequence of lockdowns being higher than the disease for younger people with the Op due to missed medical appointments etc because they aren't bright enough to understand so why bother? If you showed data that less than ten people under 18 had died of covid and 500 had committed suicide with exacerbating mental health issues as a consequence of supposed covid measures, the Op would still say anyone against lockdowns think the ten lives are not worth saving with an emotional virtual signalling meltdown.. better to argue calculus with your dog than engage too deeply with those that have the cognitive processing speeds of a rusty leaf blower

Impatient? That seems a little unreasonable considering the sacrifices people have made over the last year; the loss of jobs and businesses; the elderly unable to see their families, starved of human contact, many losing their lives in isolation and loneliness; the suicides and mental health issues. This situation has demanded, and generally received, a high level of commitment from the public, who have largely adhered to the rules.
It's inevitable that any lifting of restrictions will witness an emancipation of energy and enthusiasm, particularly when hosted by sunshine and rising temperatures. We can only presume SAGE would have anticipated these reactions and that the scientific model calculates for some margin of error without derailing the 'Road map to freedom'. However, it would seem premature to breath a sigh of relief just yet, regardless of the Vaccine rollout and dwindling infections and fatalities, with the dark cloud of mutant variants sitting on the subs bench patiently waiting for the opportunity to send us straight back into lockdown.
We're caught in an unfalsifiable loop and heading for the Matrix.

It's like arguing with peoples' fear, ain't it? They're not likely to overcome that fear with sound logic.

I understand the point you're trying to make. But i don't think it's reasonable, neither do i think it's sensible to just place people into lockdown, especially young people, whose livelihoods have been taken away from them, and it's all been based on fear. Not only that, but mental and physical health will further decline if you just continue to place people into one bracket and decide to keep the lockdowns going.
I mean what has happened to people? Calling the Police on neighbours because they dared to go out twice a day for a walk.
Someone asked me once why people have started to act like this, and my response was that people were already that sick and twisted, but because of new government legislation, felt the need and self-entitlement to dictate what others should do, and how they should live their lives. After all, even that slight sense of power does corrupt people.

News flash!! The "vaccine" does not prevent infection or transmission, which is what a vaccine is supposed to do.

So . . .

Thats the same with the general flu jab, it maybe doesn't stop transmission or infection existing but it helps the body be more immune to it, and its exactly the same sort of path and process with both covid and the general flu with there vaccines in the body, They could both still transmit between people but it reduces the severity of it and hospital admissions, Its no difference to the covid situation in how it works with the general flu, neither have had their existance of infection vanished but is manageble,

It like if you stick a condom on your dick, it should help but it doesn't mean it won't split and not have a leak in it being water tight,

Sure, let's compare the flu vaccine to the covid "vaccine."

How effective is the flu vaccine against influenza? A simple percentage will do.

The flu in general was not creating such extreme rates because the increase of needing new medical centres set up and the swap testing centres were not required until only after Covid started. Its not like as if people had to have a swap test when they had the normal flu, these extra essential raletd stages and extreme level only came out when covid set out occuring.

That confirms there have been extra measures and requirements needed for covid which was never needed for the normal flu all the past years before covid into the UK.

Well I'm not a medical expert or a doctor, but until Covid came up, there was not so much life taken away by that alone like socialising, going out with others, travel etc, So all those extra losses only started after Covid came up and snatched it all away .

Also the flu did not cause things like long term damage, when a peerson recovered from the flu they were back to normal again, but with Covid there is long covid which can be left behind as long term permanant damage and scarring which will never go away, It leaves a total difference behind which was not there when it first approached attacking on the persons body .
