Has Boris finally played his last card?

I'm more interested in who's drip feeding this ammo to the media. They've held on to it for over a year. The photo of Boris and Co sitting around drinking, was taken from a Treasury balcony next door to number 10. Does that put Rishi in the frame? Cummings was in the photo so that clearly rules him out of that particular leak.
It wouldn't surprise me if Cummings hadn't set the camera up on a delay timer, then dashed down, adopted a languid pose...(obviously turning away from the camera) then dashed back to pocket his snap ... to use at his own convenience.
He seems the type. :D

Tory Ministers relieved nobody noticed High Court ruled they unlawfully gave £300m PPE contracts to their mates

After a busy day in current affairs yesterday, the Conservative government has breathed a huge sigh of relief that nobody seems to have noticed that the High Court deemed ‘unlawful’ their use of a VIP lane to fast track PPE contracts to their friends.

With the media and voters alike focussing on Boris Johnson admitting he attended an illegal party in his back garden, and US courts insisting Prince Andrew must face civil charges in court, many voters have been left completely unaware that the High Court ruled yesterday that the government acted unlawfully in handing out hundreds of millions of pounds to their mates in the form of PPE contracts.

Voter Simon Williams told us, “Wait, are you saying the government was wrong to set up a VIP Lane to hand out PPE contracts which circumvented normal procurement processes, before using that VIP Lane to give millions of pounds to their friends? Colour me shocked!

“Honestly, I had no idea. I do find it very difficult to keep track of all the illegal things the Tories keep doing. Barely a week goes by without a revelation that one of them has resigned in disgrace, or broken some rule or other. But two in one day? That’s a bit much, isn’t it?

“Would it be too much to ask for the Tories to give us a week, or maybe even two, where they don’t do anything unlawful or break any rules, just so we can catch our breath and take in all of the other stuff they’ve been caught doing recently?

“Oh, it would be too much to ask. Okay, never mind.”

Are you a Tory/Tory MP?

Have you written your letter to the 1922 Committee yet?

Here is an easy template to follow:

Dear 1922 Committee,

First, happy 100th birthday!

Second, I regret that I am writing to express my lack of confidence in the prime minister/that mendacious shitbag who’s f*ucked everything up from a flying start/Carrie’s husband.

Over the last two years since he took office/21 years since he was made an MP/57 years since this ungodly creature was spawned, Boris Johnson has sadly proved himself unfit for his position.

While I bear no grudge against a pathologically lying PM/valued colleague and friend/hate the twat for f*ucking me over in 2019, I have not allowed that to affect my decision. This is purely professional/the sweetest revenge I have ever taken.

I find his explanation of the party incident to be not entirely convincing/entirely convincing because he’s a blithering dickhead/career-ending bullshit, and believe the matter settled/he’s f*ucked it/he should have blamed Carrie.

I thank Boris for his selfless service and am certain he will always be remembered as a great statesman/The Shagger/the one who was worse than the last one and she was worse than the one before that and he was bollocks.

Sadly it is time for him to leave office and write his Shakespeare book/admit to another five illegitimate children/piss off to Florida with his shithead mate Trump/divorce Carrie.

I look forward to a bright future in a Conservative party led soberly and responsibly by Sunak/Truss/Raab/Patel/f*uck me, is that the best we’ve got? We’re f*ucked.

Yours,

[Enter your name and constituency here. If you don’t know your constituency ask a spad.]

Pandemic I agree with your post regarding the two Sky reporters. Also what about all the news reporters when they huddled together to get pics etc think it was outside Dominic Cummings house. It was at a time when we all had to be socially distanced two foot apart.

And GB News showed a video of Robert Peston (ITV) at the last press conference sitting without a mask on then as soon as the camera turned to him he put his mask on.

The press really are the biggest hypocrites.

"Downing Street held yet MORE parties throughout the Covid pandemic with events taking place every Friday as Prime Minister Boris Johnson encouraged staff to "let off steam" even though indoor socialising was strictly banned"
