I cleared my laptops history and cookies and restarted it and got in, it did reset my preferences but I got in

Maybe try clearing your device's cache, delete cookies and reboot .............. that what all Support desks usually tell you to do LOL

Failing that ... I would suggest the BFH approach !!

That’s what I did other day, deleted history and cookies and restarted and it worked. I got in, but my chat preferences had been reset, so had to redo that

What worked for me, was getting a 5lb lump hammer and hitting my computer with 5 heavy blows....

What others have said did work for me, but how I do it is slightly different. I first close all my pages, then clear cookies and history, then turn off both my router and computer. Reboot both and again clear cookies and history before I open any pages.
