We fcuked it up yet again.

We're animals at the end of the day, some more intelligent than others. I mean look at the whole panic buying that happened at the start of this lock down. What did the experts expect was going to happen? We all have a survival instinct that kicks in when faced with danger, and once triggered we're not entirely in control of ourselves. Another example of this is when faced with the prospect of a fight. That adrenaline kicks in, we become slightly nervous and tense, and our rationality disappears. It then becomes a fight or flight scenario.

You're absolutely spot on in the fact that the human race is heavily flawed, but also has the potential to do some good. And people say money is the root of all evil. And i don't entirely disagree with that statement. Power corrupts the best of people at times. However, i think it depends on purpose and cause of that individual who holds that power.

When people talk about a currency or physical money, it's not real. It's a method of exchange for goods. But this method could be changed just like that. Physical money could very well cease to exist and become as worthless as the piece of paper on the desk.

I think overall, we as a race have got it so wrong. We've attempted to create a society where everyone has the equal right to live the best life they possibly can. This is not the case though, as severe poverty still exists. Someone is one pay slip away from being homeless. It can happen to anyone.

Maybe we all could come out of this covid nightmare changed and hopefully for the better.

From expecting to get anything we want, expect do anything we want and expect to go any place at any time we want. Suddenly we can’t get what we want, we can’t do what we want and we can’t go anywhere at anytime!

We have seen people struggling, people scared and desperate and distressed. We have seen services stretched and struggling. We have seen strangers, friends and loved ones get ill and die with this virus. We have seen hero’s, we have seen people helping each other, we have seen the best of humanity and we have seen stupidly, selfishness, greed , the worst of humanity.

Maybe world wide humans will start to see actually what they do have and realise what is more important in life. Be grateful for their life , their health and their freedom. Start to see they don’t need so much material things to be happy. Maybe start to see family, friends , people , showing love, helping others , working together is important to build a better world for everyone.

I got asked to leave a pub once cause off a bleeding seagull.
I ordered chicken breast and chips at a nice harbourside bar here.
The waiter brought my food, and im not kidding, in about 3 seconds, this gigantic, gull swooped down, and flew off with my chicken.
He had also knocked my chips on the floor, and i had mayonese and lettuce allover my lap.
Oiiii ive got to the waiter, no way to speak to someone, i know, but put yourself in my shoes here. you just watched a 9 quid chicken leg fly away

Well i said, you did hear that squawking, cutlery flying, and me swearing, about 3 seconds after i brought my meal i said?
Come with me he said please sir, he took me to this sign which said the management arent responsible for food eaten at outside tables.

It was really big to be fair to him.
It says sheffield 45 miles i said, i wanted a bigger row, but some tourists were staring at my shorts, dont worry its mayonese i said, a seagulls just stolen my chicken, they just looked the other way, i sensed they didnt want to get into a convo about it.

I've known this for a while now, but we're certainly not fully in control of our own lives and how we want to lead it. I think you're spot on when you highlight the establishment. Want to have a sunbathe on the beach? How dare you lol! You must do this and you must do that.
And they'll guilt you into staying home by using the NHS as a weapon to do it. How to control and strike fear into billions of people and place them in lock down in a matter of weeks. And they'll use to media to pump up that fear to high levels.

What a load of bollocks! Why not come with me into work and actually see all the people fighting for their lives and dying. I’ve had family members die, friends and a colleague at work. It’s very real and can’t be underestimated of it’s deadliness.

To stop this virus is by stopping the spread and the more people go out there more is will spread and the longer it will effect everyone’s lives. It’s not the government that is controlling and limiting our lives ... it’s actually Covid19 in control .

Try reading about the flu pandemics in 1918, read about what happened when it had a second wave! Nobody wants to be in this situation but to saves lives we have to act responsible and reduce contact.
