accessing chat

hi does anyone know what I am doing to get the message when I try to get to chat, haven't managed to get past it yet. It may be because I closed my account as I didn't like the name I had chosen and created a new one. This message comes up


"You were disconnected from the server by server.
Reason: not authenticated"
