Do you believe in any myths , legends or folklores ? Do you think it’s just silly stories, made up to scare people or can they hold some truth ?

I’m at Bodmin in Cornwall , should I expect to see the beast passing the cabin ?

I suspect a lot of folklore and myth has roots in reality. I'm reading a book at the moment about people in the NHS, Police and Fire Service who had to deal with some real creepy crap they couldn't explain.

Anyway, back on topic...I once lived in an area where big cat sightings was reported and televised.
1 evening I was coming home from a shift where a scottish lad new to the area had got a job at the same place so I would give him a lift. Driving along 1 of the lanes I saw in the distance some sort of figure moving in and out the hedging, I thought probably just a dog or young deer maybe, as we got closer and adjacent to where I saw the figure this lad as passenger done a double take n said WTF was that?!?! I asked what hed seen n he said it was like a cat but the size of a rottweiler n it leaped into the bush.
I told him about the big cat story and rumours was it could of been a leopard that had escaped from twycross zoo (which was about 4 or 5 miles from the sightings).

Let me explain a little to a slow person.:-
In the chatrooms i have very little time to read and reply to anything that anyone writes .I am not a touch typist so i am typing out a reply to ONE person as a further 10 comments are arriving from others in the room and those get missed . Are you stilwith me ? or do you need an even more detailed explanation ?
On here i have time to read ,digest and reply to any comment which is aimed at me . Still with me ?? take your time reading this ,you may learn something .
