A good while back I had an affair with someone I'd met in a chat room, but the affair soured so I gibbed it, sat back and braced myself for the backlash. I was fully prepared for it. but to my amazement nothing happened. A full year went by. Then completely out of the blue the ex put my name and address into the chat room. It was so unexpected. If it had happened before I'd have been ready for it, but not then. It was only then that I understood, revenge is a dish best served cold, and it's something I've lived by since.
