I wasn't sure what you meant here, but just had a quick google and found this:

In pirate culture, "slap" can sometimes be used in the context of "slapping a name on a ship."

Sounds like you know your pirates and what they got up to!

omg i'm laughing hard here..i literally meant slap me cos i thought drinking rum and hanging around with pirates was a bad thing
but hey if someone wants to slap my name on a ship then i'll be happy :D

What a name for a ship: BlondieCute! Far better than The Mary Celeste. Probably wouldn't have all disappeared if the ship had a decent name like BlondieCute.

World opinion is divided on whether bad things happen when you knock around with pirates: some people's bad things are other people's good things......

I never drink spirits but me Grandad used to love a tot of rum. Remember him coming up the yard one night and his head cracking against the house wall after a night on rum: step, crack, step, crack, step, crack, all the way up the yard. Used to be a hard drinking place in the mining villages of County Durham, probably no different to anywhere else these days.

And i was off exploring lol...not working hard 10hr shifts ..that's what i told myself :)
