No dried up turkey in my house....

I could go into detail about the importance of:

Always properly basting your bird
Roasting breast down
The correct way of stuffing

but somehow it all sounds a little rood :rolleyes::rolleyes:...

Early October and stores all over the UK are rapidly filing their shelves with the usual Halloween tat, closely rivalled by the plethora of Christmas "must haves" that nobody actually needs.
When I was a child I'm sure Christmas wasn't even thought about until after the 5th November and we'd had our fill of Standards Fireworks ads and shocking Safety films about why you should never throw fireworks or pick up a spent sparkler by the wrong end.

Oh and for the Bah Humbugs and Grinches on here, NEVER is not a useful answer lol.

24th December.................Maybe :D

When I was young it was literally just December it turned up but then again I lived in the country and only ventured into town a dew times a year, definatly something better about Christmas being at Christmas, I can get decorations being for sale mid November but calenders available before Halloween is a bit odd.
