What’s going on?
I think I know what’s going on. It’s all out war on the motorist. Government have decided that there are too many cars on our roads, so they are devising ways of getting rid of lots of them, such as people who can’t afford to change, in nine years time to a £30.000 electric replacement.
So motoring will become what it once was…something for the rich.
Even the rich, though, will have a harder time than they are used too. They will have to contend with roads blocked, or slowed down, by fleets of cyclists, scooters, buggies et al; all in roads shrunk by cycle lanes and bus lanes.
The future is bright, but it ain’t moving.
“Where’s the next electric plug in?’
