I am currently addicted to Pancakes with scrambled Egg, smoked middle cut Bacon wrapped up and soaked in Maple Syrup ,

My question is this , why is decent Maple Syrup so fkin expensive ?

I have tried using Honey or Treacle etc but it's just not the same deal ,

I'm doin 6 a day minimum right now and i fear it's just the start of my journey ........

Are you training for a triathlon?

eBay sells an authentic Maple Syrup in larger quantities which is pure and grade A. 2 litres for £25 etc which is cheaper than most supermarkets and works out a lot cheaper in the long run.

I have never tried it myself but a very active friend buys hers there.

Now how can I murder a cockerel that wakes me up at 6.30 every morning?

I used to love Tate and Lyle golden syrup on pancakes...it's far cheaper than maple syrup, at least it was when I was a kid.

I love golden syrup. Try it on scones with clotted cream. It's called Thunder and Lightning in Cornwall.

I tried that and didn't like it , I am a very fussy eater ,
I tend to nail things I find I like until I am sick of it ,

I can no longer eat Chicken Wings as from lockdown , I think I went for 184 days straight on them ,

Yorkshire puddings I could do things with hmmm .....

Planning ahead means my pancake days could be numbered x

I read there was a robbery, someone stole thousands of barrels of the stuff, my advice is just keep driving behind lorries, ones bound to fall off the back , that'll do youh nicely for at least 3 days...I think they got nabbed in the end though..
