i think like Claire is right its over rated , never done it dont intend to start now

Agreed! why do we need a specific day, to show someone we love or care for them. Shouldn't we do things to show that all the time, little things count not always the big romantic gestures. But I do agree/ like what Megs said about it giving people single people a chance to give a token of their affection and let someone know they like them etc, that's kind of sweet.

Valentine's Day is overrated,
Why was the day even created?
The need to be so overtop gets me so frustrated,
Love should be shown always and forever,

A reminder for those who are alone,

Just too look better than others, no need to compete,
