Sounds not working

My sound alerts are not working. When someone mentions my name in room or I get a PM, I don't get the sound alert. Does anyone know why?

Macgyver, its a google/chrome browser problem (well is for me and others) ive no driver updates etc and cant find a resolve, for now use a different browser as sound works ok on the site with microsoft edge (if your on windows 10) or mozilla firefox if your not, both are secure..

Thank you termyo but the sound from speakers work but not the sound alerts from site so I thought it might be a site error. I dont have mozilla or firefox.

Yes. Speakers are on. I can hear other stuff like youtube but not sound alerts on here
