Can it ever be justified to make derogatory remarks about a person`s family during discord in a chatroom ?. Just what sort of person stoops so low as to make nasty remarks ,or any remarks ! about another persons family ; wife husband ,Mother ,Father ,children etc etc . Family has nothing to do with a disagreement in chatroom so why should their names be mocked or debased in any chatroom.
I don`t think so and i think that anyone using this form of antagonism should be banned without warning . To do this though it needs a ruling in the Rule Terms.

So based on the assumption that you have done this then surely any insults hurled your way about family members are simply "Meaningless" and should be easily ignored ......

In real life ...if someone said to your face ,in front of a whole room filled with people ,that your wife was lazy and your daughters slept with any bloke , and your Mother was an old slag ....you would just ignore it then ? ( btw ,nobody has yet said that to me or about my famly in a chatroom ).
I don`t think member`s families should be brought into any discord unless they are part of the site too. There is no justification for it apart from the fact that they are obviously the lowest form of life on the planet.
Take this example then ... One time recently another member typed about me /at me in the chatroom that they would be round to f*** my wife when i wasn`t in .Nothing was said by the room mod . I replied ( angry i admit) that if i met them out then they`d be enjoying Hospital food for a few days . Immediately i got a warning ! " that`s a threat ! against the rules " . When i protested the mod told me that they only cared about registered members and not outsiders such as family etc.
That means others can slander my real family and i can`t do f. all in response ? It`s a joke !

To you it may seem simple . Think about this ...i have friends who have friends who don`t like me .Therefor if i have discord with the friends who don`t like me & vice versa it divides the friends who might otherwise chat to me as they don`t want to fall out with their friend who is not mine !
