People who never give a direct honest answer, but imply and hint at stuff

Self-Service Checkouts: The constant "unexpected item in the bagging area" voice when you’re just trying to buy a loaf of bread and it doesn't recognise the weight when you're trying to buy a birthday card, leaving you tapping the scale to try and make it realise there's something there.

People Who Don't Say Thank You: When you hold a door open for someone and they walk through like you're their personal servant—it's like they just expect it and have zero manners.

Whilst we are on the subject of men, moody men.

Take your middle-aged tantrum to your mummy.

I want to put inaccessible buildings into Room 101. It's so frustrating when there are steps, narrow doors and no ramps. I'm also adding low pavements—it's unacceptable when people can't even get around properly.

Modern Dating:

The Next Best Thing Mentality: It feels like nobody actually tries anymore because they’re convinced a "better" version of you is just one more swipe away. It’s turned people into disposable products.

The Silence of Ghosting: The fact that it’s now "normal" for grown men to just vanish into thin air rather than having a ten-second awkward conversation. It’s just cowardly.

The Job Interview Energy: Sitting across from someone and ticking off boxes. You aren't connecting; you're just auditing each other’s lives to see if you fit specific criteria.

Hiding Behind Therapy Speak: Using big words like "emotional capacity" or "boundaries" as a fancy way to be flaky, selfish, or avoid taking any responsibility.

The Death of the Actual Plan: all of the “let's link up" or "we should do something." Whatever happened to actually picking a time, a place, and showing up with some effort?

Mummy’s Boys: Men who are grown adults but still can’t make a single decision or boil an egg without calling their mother. You end up feeling like a third wheel in your own relationship.

The Liars and Users: The ones who tell you exactly what you want to hear just to get what they want, then pull the rug out from under you the second they’ve had their fun.

The Big Promiser: The one who looks you in the eye and promises a relationship, trips, and a future together—but it’s all just complete rubbish to keep you on the hook
