Seems like much of the establishment want to see the back of her. She is up against a formidable foe ,,, our Civil Service: who are there to act on instructions from ministers but have lately been turning things round.
They should remember that they are there to serve; not command.
Brave woman .. to take on the establishment.

We need a strong presence like that in politics, and i think we have that in Dominic Cummings, who not many like in politics because he's very blunt and will tell politicians how useless they actually are. For so long now have we seen a Civil Service who have abused their position of power.
It happened with Trump in America, where the whole establishment were against him. Clinton was supposed to win the Presidency, not Trump. He's the opposite of the seemingly clean cut, Presidential like Barry Obama. Just as America has "The Swamp" in their system, we also have a swamp in our Civil Service.

No, i don't think her career is in trouble. She's being moulded and shaped into a future PM after Johnson. If she's tough on criminal justice reform, and also immigration policy reform, then she'll be popular among the masses. She's also not too hard on the eye, so that's always a bonus for her. People have nicknamed her Priti "The Barbarian" Patel because she can be ruthless.
