this is beyond a joke now I have to switch my pc off when the neighour comes in or swap to another tab as the ads are smack in your face can't hide it so If I want to show a topic on the forum then I have to let them see the PORN there too

I have spoken to the site owner and he has stated that these current ads are not sexually explicit and this is an 18 and over adult site.. They show no genitalia or sex acts. A free chat site has to have ad revenue to remain free.

I have always agreed with you about the revenue. But I'm sure I have seen what your not supposed to but I've stopped coming onto the site as much so I don't see it lol so they are accomplishing that if they want to lose chatters thanks again for your help

Thanks for your input I was beginning to feel like Mary Whitehouse a lady for those of you not old enough to know that used to have things shut down and censored lol I don't disagree with the ads just the strong porn aspect of them they can advertise without showing off bits or acts

You can block the porn with a ad blocker, its a add on for whatever browser you are using, they are simple to add to your browser then you just see a blank page instead of porn.

My question is. Why porn ads? Do they think we're all desperately in need of this sickening degrading abuse of women? I'm sure they can find more interesting things they can advertise or is it because chatrooms attract the kind of people who watch porn. I'm sure many chatters already have their favourite free porn sites they already use. Another question for chatters, have any of you actually clicked on these adverts and signed up? Hmmmm I very much doubt it. Maybe do a post who's in favour and who's not.

On android you can get firefox, which let's you use extensions such as ublock. This will natively stop the popups (chaturbate). To rid the banner at the top and bottom you have to add a custom filter for 12chats.com

Bit of a faff but saves embarassment on the bus.

and what bout those that don't have android haha I have two iphones. and why do we have to go to these lengths on what is essentially meant to be a clean site that is the point being missed here. We were all quite happily working on the site and now it has become a bit of a chore not the pleasure the site was meant to be at least most chat sites are even the sex ones are for the pleasure of the chatters. And as LiverBird mentioned it' is women not men depicted I have seen so many good chatters leave certainly not the site I joined

Completely agree porn ads are inappropriate but I guess they pay the best.
