Poem- positive outlook

Not my poem but forwarded to me

Now so many planes are grounded
The skies are turning blue!
The risk of air pollution
Is fast reducing too!
I looked up to the heavens
The vapour trails had gone!
Just a pair of happy blackbirds-
Bursting forth with song!
It made me reconsider
There's blessings here we've missed.
I think I'll sit down quietly
And make a little list!

1. The flowers don't look so dusty
They're vibrant, bright and strong.
The air is pure and sweeter
Now the traffic's all
long gone!

2. The river's looking cleaner.
No pollutants infiltrate
With all the factories closing
The toxins soon abate

3 On the water all round Venice-
Not a tourist boat in sight!
But glistening fish returning
gaining access day and night!

4 And my neighbourhood is quiet
A calming peace presides.
And there's not a trace of llitter
Cos everyone's inside!

Moral :
Though we've labelled this virus as ' Nasty and mean'
It's accomplished a feat that no one could dream!
Without any noise and completely unseen.
It's travelled the globe
And swept our earth clean!!

I put myself in self isolation yesterday: our Town centre.
Not a soul to be seen.
I expect they were all queuing outside the out of town Tesco, the thoughtless batards.

You will always find selfish, greedy people at times like these.. sadly.

I am just careful where i go, stopped hugging people and doing handshakes shame but for the best
