    To restore the cathedral a great many mature trees will have to be cut down. The tree-hugging eco-warriors that are currently disrupting London will not be happy about that, i'll tell you that for nothing.

    British trees for British people, I get that but French trees have a right to life too.

    on hearing reports [depend which new channel you have on ] most of it is stone . unlike York minister which they insist on comparing it too hat was made mainly of wood..

    I see the duke of Rutland has offered to donate some of his mature oak trees from his estate in Leicestershire, upwards of a 1000 such trees will have to be felled in order to rebuild Notre Dame. I am incandescent with rage.
