The theory hasn't been 'debunked', I think those scientists findings have been taken out of all context...the theorem remains as solid as ever as a demonstration of the nature of infinity...it discusses infinity, not the life span of the universe I think the whole thing is slightly ridiculous, its just a thought experiment it was never meant to happen in reality, like Einstein's thought experiments about travelling at the speed of light etc

Fair enough mate. I like your angle, and agree with you. Still, the reason I put the article like that is because any theory that is claimed as a reason why some scientist said something is declared as absolute. So I'm doing it in a like-for-like manner.
Lots of professors professing, yet not too many of them "guestimating". In fact, it's considered a dirty word outside of the boofhead club. It isn't the science itself. It's the self-righteous turds that are in there hiding facts, and distorting stuff. Calling people stupid because they have an alternate theory, with equal weight to theirs.
