When my walls came tumbling down
I cried desperately for help
Left to my own devices
While on my own, I fell
I could not get off the ground
I did not know how to rise
Completely defeated
While no one, heard my cries
A woman, still I am
And still, I have a heart
I know I made some choices
That have broken me apart
But someone can you see me?
I'm not every mistake I made
I pray someone to free me
From the jail inside my head
The walls around me are cracking
I can feel them closing in
With everything I'm lacking
Will I ever be me again?
I cried desperately for help
Left to my own devices
While on my own, I fell
I could not get off the ground
I did not know how to rise
Completely defeated
While no one, heard my cries
A woman, still I am
And still, I have a heart
I know I made some choices
That have broken me apart
But someone can you see me?
I'm not every mistake I made
I pray someone to free me
From the jail inside my head
The walls around me are cracking
I can feel them closing in
With everything I'm lacking
Will I ever be me again?
