Compassion, thats all I would like to see over xmas.
To allow people to join together in a tradition of faith, irrespective of the date, that we can all simply aloow peace a day?
Not be seperated by opinions or beliefs.
In the first world war, there was peace on the battlefields between the Germans and the British, they traded chocolate, hell a German soldier had his hair cut by a british squadie who was a barber yet volunteered to fight.
To simply say, for today we can love our fellow peoples of the earth and take a day, just one, to be harmonised.
Perhaps, though I doubt it, we could actually think of the existential threats our own world has before the percieved and actual threats that countries, not individuals, create.
Yes I understand people have different holidays, they have different beliefs, but can we start with one and then hopefully expand, until eventually every day is peaceful?
