Possibily - or the power which is only a couple of quid and easy to replace, takes about 5 minutes of screwing (i'm sure you're used to that)
Or the power....what?
Haha @ used to that... Once upon a time hehe

grab a screwdriver, open the case, its the little square box held in by four screws (youll see where you plug the power cable in). unscrew it, itll be connected at the other end (just red and black cabling with connectors on the end) and goes into the motherboard and probably your dvd player etc (take mobile shots of where they are). insert the new power supply box, connect it back up, violins!) or youtube it (save yourself £400 for 5 minutes work) "inserting power supply to xxxxxxx pc" and so on - go girl!

Yes, that's what I was expecting it to be, I thought you were suggesting something else.
Not a problem. I built the pc I currently have. I can manage locating the right slots for things that fit too hehe. I was contemplating on just buying the whole new set up again though anyway, just because it's a good few years old now and since I'll be on my knees rummaging around inside a small box, may as well do it properly haha
Thanks though for your advice, much appreciated :)
