Do you suffer from FOBIA?

Just quick note to post at xmas. I've noticed an increase of chatters who are going to be alone this xmas. I put some thought into this and came up with an ancronym: FOBIA, Fear Of Being Isolated/Alone. To solve a problem one must first recognise there is one, and FOBIA is compounded at times like xmas, or being single at a wedding, or the ugly one at a swingers party, etc.

The symptoms of FOBIA include everything from being down on yourself to being abnormally hostile to those who are 'having a great time when you're not'. If you find yourself being a 'fobiac', remember this:

You're actually not alone, you have this site as a plan b if you havent found solace anywhere else. Personally, i've got the beers and nibbles in and intend having a great time in these rooms over this tricky period with loud music. Remember, people make parties not parties make people. So if you're at a loose end, say hi to me or someone else in your fav chatroom and have a laugh and ignore the world until it returns to normal and starts planning Easter.

tiúnáil amach agus bí ar meisce! (google translate this :) )

I'm not sure if i would call it a phobia, as i wouldn't consider it a severe fear of something, but I'm very anxious about outstaying my welcome. Whether that's at family gatherings or hanging out with friends, or even life in general. I don't want to ever outstay my welcome.

Dance like you're allergic to music, breathe like your lungs are one metre wide, eat everything like you're starving, live like today is your last, because one day you'll be right and you would've lived and not wasted time worrying if your socks matched

You can never escape your childhood, and mine was a lonely one. It's had such a profound effect on my life that I'm lonely now, even when i'm with someone :( I need my own acronym :)

Well, it went OFF, all by itself, mid type... It won't turn back on again. No power at all :(
Tried a different power cable, no joy!
Probably the PSU given up.
Possibily - or the power which is only a couple of quid and easy to replace, takes about 5 minutes of screwing (i'm sure you're used to that)
