Now here’s a chat story that comes straight from Dee

But to tell it in rhyme, then it comes down to me

It starts with a carton, which used to have food

Which, by the end, had put Dee in a mood

Distracted was she, by the thought of a meal

But scraping out mess was not part of the deal

For inside her oven, untouched a food tray,

Which was in the end her cause of dismay

When the oven turned hot, and her mouth was to water

For food, but unknown had her daughter

Left a plastic container, which melted and slumped

In the oven instead of just being dumped

A smell oh so foul, the game gave away

As melted and bent was the old plastic tray

The food if not spoiled there was no time to eat

For cleaning was needed, no time for a treat

And do on her knees did our hero descend,

To clean up this mess that did so offend

Scraping and scraping and cleaning and cleaning

Until, finally, the oven was gleaming

Then off to chat, to recount her story

Dee did doddle and told of the gory

Mess with which she had to deal,

Just to have a pleasant meal
